Structural plywood for NZ buildings

EziPly™ is manufactured to AS/NZS 2269:2012 and supplied in a range of grades, sheet sizes and thicknesses to suit residential, commercial and light industrial projects. Available untreated or H3.2 treated, it is suitable for wall bracing, diaphragms, structural flooring, roof sarking, roofing and deck substrates, internal linings and concrete formwork when designed and installed in accordance with NZS 3604, NASH 2019 or Specific Engineering Design.

Engineered plywood construction

Every EziPly™ panel is built for structural performance and consistent quality.

Manufactured to AS/NZS 2269:2012 with exterior bond for long-term structural performance.

Designed for versatile structural applications

The EziPly™ range covers structural CD and DD grade plywood, tongue-and-groove structural flooring and roofing panels, and phenolic film-faced Formply. Tongue-and-groove edges provide load sharing between sheets and allow flooring and roof diaphragm action where required, while square-edge panels cover general structural sheathing and bracing needs.

Performance Across the Building Envelope

EziPly™ integrates easily into NZ standard construction. As part of a compliant structural system, it can be used in timber or light-gauge steel framed buildings where the primary structure is designed in accordance with NZS 3604, NASH 2019 or Specific Engineering Design. Bracing performance must be taken from a published P21-tested system, and diaphragm, flooring and roofing applications must follow the relevant clauses of NZS 3604.

Wall Bracing

Structural plywood bracing elements installed to a tested P21 system, providing racking resistance to wind and earthquake loads.

Flooring & Diaphragms

Tongue-and-groove structural flooring panels for floors and floor diaphragms, designed in accordance with NZS 3604 Sections 7.2 and 7.3.

Roof Sarking & Substrates

Roof sarking fixed directly to rafters or truss top chords, and plywood substrates beneath waterproofing membranes where part of a certified roofing or deck system.

Internal Linings & Formwork

Non-structural internal linings, substrates and phenolic film-faced Formply for concrete formwork, beams, slabs, lift cores and foundations.
