ITI NZ, formerly known as Timspec, was established in 1990 as a specialist timber wholesaler. Following its acquisition by ITI Group in 2019, the business became ITI NZ Ltd and expanded its nationwide offering to include quality timber products such as Western Red Cedar, Radiata Pine, American Oak and Ash, as well as innovative cladding solutions including Weathertex and Accoya. This diverse range positions ITI NZ as a convenient one stop destination for timber and building solutions.

In 2025, ITI NZ acquired Rosenfeld Kidson, bringing 94 years of timber industry heritage, specialist expertise and trusted relationships into the wider ITI Group. This was followed by the acquisition of Hermpac in 2026, a respected family founded business with leading expertise in architectural specification and premium timber solutions, particularly cedar cladding.

Together, these businesses combine extensive industry knowledge, quality products and strong customer relationships, strengthening ITI NZ’s ability to support architects, designers, builders and manufacturers throughout New Zealand.
